Outreach
Bringing the Universe Down to Earth
AstRowe Education brings astronomy out of the observatory and into classrooms, libraries, festivals, and community spaces. Through engaging presentations, hands-on activities, and observing experiences, we help people of all ages explore the universe and discover their place in it.
What Is Outreach?
Outreach is how we bring astronomy out of the observatory and into everyday life. We meet people where they are, share the wonder of the universe, and create opportunities to experience space science together. From a classroom visit to a community observing night, each event is shaped around its audience and setting.
"We are a way for the cosmos to know itself. Communicating that wonder is the duty of anyone who has looked through the telescope and felt the ground drop away beneath their feet." — Carl Sagan
AstRowe in the Community
Astronomy can happen almost anywhere. Programs may include presentations, hands-on activities, telescope and solar observing, demonstrations, and experiences designed around your audience.
Real events. Real curiosity.
This is a growing collection of AstRowe activities. Add photos to show different audiences, venues, and astronomy experiences.
Let’s plan something memorable.
Have an upcoming school program, library event, community gathering, club meeting, festival, or other occasion? Contact AstRowe Education to discuss an astronomy experience for your audience.
